Your horse will likely show signs of relaxation including yawning, licking, and chewing. At times they may become tense and uneasy if we are working on a sore area but will likely relax after treatment of that area. Your horse may lower their head and drop their ears to the side and may even nap!
Please have your horse groomed and ready. Horses should not be turned out at the time of their appointment or blanketed.
Ideally, you will be there for the first session. This is where we take a history and obtain useful information on past illness or injuries. You are welcome to be present for subsequent massages, although it is not mandatory.
You can expect to have a detailed treatment report emailed to you after every massage session. We encourage you to share this useful tool with other members of your horses team including your trainer, vet, and chiropractor.
Fill out the contact form and I'll be in touch to book your session!
We encourage you to hand walk your horse for about 15 minutes post massage if possible. After their walk they should be allowed to rest in their stall and have access to a full water bucket. It is perfectly acceptable to go for a light ride the following day just be aware your horse may be a little sore. Cases can vary so please contact us and we will let you know if any exercise restrictions are recommended
We accept cash, credit cards, venmo, and checks. Payment is due at the time services are rendered. A late fee will be applied after 30 days past due.
Packages (including massage and rapid release) and discounted and must be used within 6 months.
Please allow 24 hours for cancellations. At NCEM we understand that things come up and are happy to waive the cancellation fee provided a 24 hour notice is given.
